On the afternoon of September 4th, Opening Ceremony for students of Southeast University Chengxian College 2017 was held in Houteng Stadium, together with a Synchronous live broadcast in the lecture hall, synthetic building. Deputy secretary of Southeast University, the vice-chairman of Chengxian College Board, president of Chengxian College, Zheng Jiamao, college leaders, directors of different offices and departments, 2700 new undergraduates and a number of teachers attended the opening ceremony.
The ceremony began with national anthem. It was hosted by secretary of Party Committee, Xu Yue.
First, President of Southeast University Chengxian College Zheng Jiamao delivered a speech. On behalf of the Chengxian College Board and the faculty, he extended a warm welcome to the arrival of newcomers and expressed his hopes towards students. The representative of teachers, professor Liu Xuming shared her ideas on how to be a successful reading man.
The executive vice-president Zheng Jianyong declared the results of“triple-A” outstanding students”“Excellent Student Cadres”and “Advanced Class”of Jiangsu province in the academic year of 2015-2016. President Zheng Jiamao awarded the prizes to the students and groups.
